The Twi-Lites are currently a 7-piece, all girl ska/reggae/rocksteady band from
Los Angeles, California.  Due to their diverse musical backgrounds, their sound includes elements of traditional ska, 2Tone ska, rocksteady, reggae, and soul.  This current lineup has been playing since July of 2001, and includes 4 members of the now defunct all girl ska band, The Cover-Ups.  They are currently in search of either an alto sax player or trumpet player.

So far, the reception has been positive; people seem to enjoy the feminine touch of the sweet vocal harmonies and the melodic horn lines, along with the steady and strong rhythm section.  The energy of their live performance and their catchy original songs make everyone want to get up and dance!  Their 1960’s fashion sense adds to their visual charisma, completing the style unique to The Twi-Lites.
